We are fortunate to be surrounded by mountains and ocean, as well as post towns giving you the option of plenty activities.

However, surrounded by marvellous mountains and ocean seaside, there are so many activities you can do. 

  • Stargaze

  • The Hilltop Pub on the way to Akaroa is a great place to stop, enjoy the view, grab a beer and a woodfired pizza.

In the area there are many marvellous hiking tracks.

French Farm Bay and Wainui Beach are close by if you want to sit by the sea or go for a swim. Both bays are common areas for dolphins – if you’re lucky you might see or swim with one!

Just down the road there is a delicious, award-winning cheese shop - Barrys Bay Cheese.
